Beautiful Signs for a Better Planet
INAGURAL NATIONWIDE USGBC PRODUCT SOLUTIONS DIGITAL SHOWCASE: In July 2022 Simon talked about sustainable ADA and wayfinding Declare and LEED signage. The signage highlight was part of a three day educational event focused on innovative eco-friendly building products that reduce carbon emissions, energy, water and waste consumption; enhance health, resiliency and circularity; and improve LEED performance and process.
Most Green Dot Signs are made of a wood sign base and non-toxic additive manufacturing material for lettering, braille and pictograms. We use real wood because it is strong, renewable, biodegradable and stores carbon. Compare this approach to traditional ADA office signs, which use fossil-fuel derived, non-biodegradable plastics.
