According to the Occupational Safety Hazards Administration (OSHA) Automated external defibrillators (AEDs) are an important lifesaving technology and may have a role to play in treating workplace cardiac arrest. Most sudden cardiac deaths occur outside of the hospital. It is estimated that 5 percent or less of victims of sudden cardiac deaths are successfully resuscitated and discharged alive from the hospital. In a study of Public-Access Defibrillation (PAD), communities with volunteers trained in CPR and the use of AEDs had twice as many victims survive compared to communities with volunteers trained only in CPR.

Our interior ADA and office signs come with a 5 year warranty. Wood is durable and strong, and our patent-pending 3D printing process directly bond sign content to the wood sign base. EASY SIGN INSTALLATION
Foam tape or wood pegs
Many clients order office signs with foam tape, in which case your signs arrive with double sided foam tape pre-applied. To install your signs, simply remove tape backers, apply a circle of silicone and press your sign against the wall or door for 5 seconds.
For sturdier sign installation or highly textured surfaces, order signs with wood pegs. While installing signs with wood pegs requires drilling wall holes, it is more secure.
If you plan to install your signs using the four peg installation approach and don’t want to run to the hardware store, add our installation kit to your order.
If your AED sign is being applied to glass, just let us know and we’ll provide a thin wood backer for a nominal fee. A backer on the other side of the glass covers up foam tape for a polished look.
ADA sign mounting
Generally AED signs should be wall mounted approximately seven feet high near the AED cabinet. While a AED sign is not a regulated ADA sign, it doesn’t hurt to install it with ADA sign installation requirements in mind.
